TASTING NOTE: Deep violet colour with bright purple hues. Typical and complex Malbec aromas. Ripe fruits such as figs, red fruits. Spicy notes due the oak aging Full body with sweet tannins, great structure and long finish.
(LOCAL) FOOD RECOMMENDATION: Skirt steak, Puerco Asado or baked polenta
(MICRO)CLIMATE: semi-arid continental desert climate. Rain fall is around 30cm per year which is not suitable to sustain viticulture so the vineyards are irrigated with mountain melt water.
TERROIR: Soils are mainly sand and clay with some pockets of granite rock. Altitude of the vineyards is between 600 and 800 meters above sea level.
